Hair Loss: When you Should Start Being Concerned
Some hair losses are only due to particular precursors, and recovers after three to six months. There are other cases wherein hair loss is a mere symptom to a different ailment, or when you are already in danger of losing all your locks. When do you have to start becoming worried about your falling hair?
1. Bald spots appear on other hair covered areas, such as beard or eyebrows.
2. You are a woman, and experiencing male pattern baldness.
3. Hair is lost in an abnormal pattern. Baldness have defined patterns, and if your hair loss does not follow any of these, it may be time to consult a doctor.
4. Hair is lost prematurely, specifically, during teens or twenties. Hair is at the peak of growth at these times, and hair loss should not transpire.
5. The scalp where the hair loss is located is red, scaly, itchy, or abnormal.
