Hair Loss: Food to Avoid
Hair is an external part of the body, and thus, many people assume that hair care is merely on the external. Hair loss is caused by extreme pulling of hair, hair style or hair products. The truth is, there are also some diets that might be causing the hair to fall out your head.
One of the food to avoid, if you wish to keep that hair is monosodium glutamate. It is a chemical most often used in junk food such as potato chips and the like. Too much intake of this chemical is actually found to be dangerous. Aside from causing hair loss, it also causes weight gain, increase in appetite, and a lot other health problems. Hydrogenated oil or partially hydrogenated oil used in cooking also causes the same effects as monosodium glutamate. It is considered as trans fat, and trans fat can cause heart disease, weight gain, and hair loss.
One thing to also avoid is processed sugar. In this ingredient, all natural content is taken out, and already have many chemicals that are used for growing sugarcane. All these chemicals are as dangerous to your hair, as well as your health. And, in connection to flavor, another ingredient in most processed food would be artificial flavoring. This means that the food contains chemicals that are grown with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides, or just cooked up in some laboratory.
It isn’t that difficult to avoid the mentioned food. Overall health is manifested in your hair. It does not only pay take care of your hair, but also the entirety of your health.
