Burt will be very disappointed by his own product! Burt's Bees has built a solid reputation from their quality beauty products – and this must be their first foible.

The Very Volumizing Pomegranate & Soy Shampoo seems like a very effective product for people with thin, fine and falling hair. The product claims to add volume, making hair thick, nourished and smelling great. According to some users, yes, the product lives up to its promises. With its affordable price of $11.95 makes it quite appealing to a lot of users.

However, this product does not fully deliver everything it says it could do. Not all users experience the softness and fullness that it claims. Some users complained it made their hair dry, limp and even caused hair fall. Some of the users even said the product does not lather and they have a difficult time washing it off their hair. This caused some itchiness and even the formation of dandruff.

Ingredients: The fruit extract of Pomegranate comes from the Punica Granatum tree. It contains many anthocyanidisn and polyphenols which are high in antioxidants for protection of skin and hair. The complete list of ingredients are: decyl glucoside, water, glycerin, betaine, lauryl glucoside, sucrose laurate, coco-betaine, coco-glucoside, fragrance, glyceryl oleate, soy amino acids, punica granatum seed oil, sodium cocoyl hydrolyzed soy protein, hydroxypropyltrimonium honey, extract of moringa pterygosperma seed , xanthan gum, glucose, citric acids, sodium chloride, glucose oxidase, phenoxyethanol, benzyl benzoate and lactoperoxidase.

• Does not give consistent results

Recommendation: Since this product gives inconsistent results then my strong advice would be – try it on your own risk! It's affordable enough for you to experiment with this product. If it doesn't work at least your hair smells great. If it's causing you too much discomfort like itching and dandruff like the what the other users experienced, then its best to discontinue its use. You have to remember that like all organic products, the results do take time and they will vary for every user. With the 3% chemical content, expect that the product can really have mixed reviews and results.
